Why I built Simple CRM AI

I'm Travis Dougherty, a serial entrepreneur. I know what it's like to run a business with a small team, or handle everything yourself. You're building the product, answering customers, finding new opportunities, and trying to remember who you promised to follow up with. Managing a CRM becomes another job on an already full list.

I wanted AI to help carry that workload. But the CRM tools I looked at were either more complicated than I needed or too expensive once AI features were added. For a solo founder or small team, those costs matter. I wanted something useful that fit a real small business budget.
